The work of Pieter Bruegel the Elder has been a source of inspiration to innumerable
Flemish artists. This exhibition
at the Municipal Museum in Lier explores the extent of Bruegel’s influence on subsequent
generations of painters.

The museum is closed on 1 January, on Easter day, on 1 May, on Ascension Day, on Whit Sunday, on 1 and 11 November and on 25 December.
The Municipal Museum provides guided tours to the Bruegel Land exhibition. A tour takes 90 minutes and costs € 60 per group of up to 25 persons. Please make reservations at least three weeks prior to your visit by contacting www.visitlier.be, T +32 (0)3 8000 555.
The Municipal Museum of Lier is located in Florent Van Cauwenberghstraat 14, near the central market place.

Arrival at Lier Railway Station: keep left on Leopoldplein and turn right into Antwerpsestraat. Then take a right turn into Kolveniersnest, followed by a left into Florent van Cauwenberghstraat.
