During the renovation of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, varying selections from the Museum’s vast collection of 19th and 20th-century art will be displayed at Koningin Fabiolazaal. The MODERNS. Avant-garde is the third exhibition in this series. It runs from 16 March 2013 until 1 September 2013 and features art by, among other artists, Otto Piene, Günther Uecker, Lucio Fontana, Jef Verheyen and Paul Van Hoeydonck.

Guided tours

KMSKA offers guided tours to The MODERNS. Avant-garde, providing an enjoyable and informative introduction to the Museum’s collection of 19th and 20th-century art from the Netherlands. Tours take 90 minutes and cost € 70 per group of up to 20 persons. Please make reservations at least three weeks prior to your visit by calling the Museum’s Education Department at T+32 (0)3 224 95 61.

Koningin Fabiolazaal is located at Jezusstraat 28, off Antwerp’s main shopping street (Meir) and near the Central Railway Station.

Walking to Koningin Fabiolazaal 

Koningin Fabiolazaal is situated at walking distance from the historical city centre (10 minutes via Meir) and the Central Railway Station (5 minutes via De Keyserlei).

Driving to Koningin Fabiolazaal

Koningin Fabiolazaal is easily accessible by car via some of Antwerp’s main traffic arteries. Ample paid parking facilities are available around Jezusstraat.
