The FeliXart Museum in Drogenbos is hosting an exhibition on modern art from the Interbellum from the collection of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp.
The FeliXart Museum is located in a lush oasis in the Brussels periphery. In addition to its varying selections of exhibits highlighting different aspects of the life and work of painter Felix De Boeck, the museum hosts temporary shows on historical and contemporary avant-garde art. Two spaces in the unique museum building offer a broad overview of the vibrant art scene during the Interbellum, ranging from abstraction to expressionism.
The exhibition consists in a selection of prominent pieces from the collection of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, including work by Prosper De Troyer, Marthe Donas, Jozef Peeters, Oscar and Floris Jespers, Jan Kiemeney, Jules Schmalzigaug and Ossip Zadkine.
