Campagnebeeld Bruegelland

Bruegelland XL

From 7 July 2017 until 25 February 2018 at Stedelijk Museum Lier.

Bruegelland XL is an excellent opportunity to look at the work of Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s artistic heirs in a fresh way.

The exposition takes you along busy populated paintings, on which there is so much to be seen, but also along intimate scenes that show an intense and highly personal pleasure in painting.

With artworks by, among others, Permeke, Gustave Van De Woestyne and Jean Brusselmans.

The Beauty of the Beast

From 25 May 2017 until 15 October 2017 at the Castle of Hingene

Campagnebeeld Encounters

Encounters

From 19 May 2017 until 20 August 2017 at MAS.

Great art needs no explanation in order to touch us and even change us. Some works of art leave observers bewildered; others allow them to 'see' from a different perspective. Dancers in the exhibition are guides of sensibility for the observer; they reinforce the total experience.

A collaboration between the KMSKA and the MAS.
