Being able to work allows people to develop a (different) identity.
It is something the employees of Levanto experience every day. Levanto creates the space needed for people with fewer opportunities to be able to take their work and living situation into their own hands. With respect for their diversity Levanto stimulates people to develop their possibilities and skills in order to increase their chances of finding and keeping work.
Labour and identity
Levanto wanted to accent the importance of having a job with a unique photo exhibition. Lieve Blancquaert, Koen Broos and Zaza Bertrand - three renowned Belgian photographers - pictured the relationship between labour and identity. Columnist Bernard Dewulf wrote poetic annotations that went side by side with their portraits.
