Turning Heads travels to Dublin
Our first major expo since the museum reopened, closed its doors at the end of January. Fortunately, the expo reopens at The National Gallery of Ireland. The 78 masterpieces from the Turning Heads expo will travel on to Dublin to capture everyone's heart.
Didn't get a chance to visit Turning Heads yet? We certainly recommend a trip to Dublin.
Turning loans
With the departure of the Turning Heads exhibiton, we say goodbye to a number of masterpieces that were guests at the museum during the expo such as 'Girl in the Red Hat' by Johannes Vermeer, 'The Laughing Man' by Rembrandt and 'The Ugly Dutchess' by Quinten Massijs. You can go admire them at The National Gallery before they return to their rightful museums in Washington DC, The Hague and London.
In the meantime, we must also miss our own tronies. Find out below which masterpieces from our own collection can be admired along with them at The National Gallery of Ireland.
